We’re asking everyone who calls Faith Lutheran their home church to be ALL IN by responding personally to God’s invitation to join together to accomplish the God-inspired vision He has for us.

HOW DO WE GET THERE?

ALL IN WITH GOD

Through engagement with the Word of God individually, at home, and together. Not only do we want to know the WORD, we want to be able to give the reason for our hope (apologetics). Our prayer for this initiative begins with increased engagement in the WORD.

ALL IN WITH EACH OTHER

Through engagement with the Body of Christ we will seek to do life together where people are both welcomed and challenged.

ALL IN WITH THE PEOPLE WE ENCOUNTER

Engagement isn’t for ourselves, at baptism we are called to let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”. We will seek engagement by living together in a culture of evangelism with an increased impact on missions & evangelism.

PRIMARY GOAL

Simply put, DISCIPLESHIP. We want to invite and challenge our congregation on a path of engagement living out our mission to lead others to Christ.

SECONDARY GOAL

Simply put, RESOURCES to accomplish our primary purpose. As we read the epistle of James “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.” Those gifts are often revealed when people are all in for the LORD sharing time, talent, and treasure.

 FAQs

  • The ALL-IN initiative is the result of a yearlong process of discernment and work by the Council and staff. It has incorporated planning teams working in the areas of stewardship development, strategic ministry, and ministry-related facility support. All told, these various processes have involved more than 30 persons. We are also incorporating input from visions events totalling more than 200 members providing input and insight. The vision that has emerged represents our sense of what God is calling us to go ALL IN to “walk a Jesus shaped life with God, with each other and the people we encounter.”

  • The initiatives imagined in ALL IN are not a “wish list.” They are vital imperatives for the future health of our congregation and the thousands of people who depend on our faithfulness. The initiative has three major goals, to...

    1. Be ALL IN for God through engagement with the Word of God and funding all the ministry and core facility needs for the next two years.

    2. Be ALL IN for one another through engagement with the body of Christ and resourcing deferred maintenance as well as

    facility and technology upgrades.

    3. Be ALL IN for the people we encounter through a culture of evangelism and increased mission impact.

  • By educating every member and friend through a provocative, prayerful, personal process focused on the link between discipleship and stewardship.

    By increasing engagement of our own person journeys of faith and servant leadership.

    By funding the two-year vision plan that sustains our core ministries, advances new initiatives, improves our campus and increases our outreach impact.

  • 1. Be ALL IN and pray boldly that God would challenge and stretch you in ways you never have before.

    2. Be ALL IN and commit fully to the vision God has for us as individuals and as a church.

    3. Be ALL IN and give sacrificially when the time comes.

    4. Be ALL IN for the Gospel and His church.

  • Like all financial goals for our congregation our plan will be presented annually at our congregational meeting and approved by our members. It will be administered by our staff with direct oversight by our elected council. We will prioritize core ministries and missions first and fulfill debt reduction and facility updates second. The goal is to be able to fully fund each of the four areas: core ministries, mission, debt reduction, and facilities at the same percentage of the total two-year $5.3 million dollar plan.

  • This is a first for Faith Lutheran. We have never mounted a discipleship & stewardship education effort on the scale that will be implemented in this initiative. Our #1 goal is helping people be ALL IN for God and His Gospel. We will help an unprecedented percentage of our congregation do a serious personal assessment of where their discipleship stands and how God is and can be using their capacity for influence in the world.
